Who can apply for EULISP?

As a German Student you need a Staatsexamen with a minimum result of "befriedigend". As an alternative you need to have a degree in LL.B. with a min. of 180 credit points. Non-German Students need a degree in law with the qualification to be a lawyer.

Furthermore you need specific language skills. German students do not need to submit any language skills, unless they want to go to a English speaking country in the second semester. Foreign students need to submit English or German language skills:

    • English: TOEFL 78 P / IELTS min. 6 P / a study in English

    • German: DAF 4 P in all 4 modules / C 1 Goethe Zertifikat

 

How can I apply?

You cannot apply online. You need to fill in our application form. Please sent us a copy via post. You will find our address on the form.

You will also need following application documents:

  • the application form

  • curriculum vitae (in English or German)

  • letter of Motivation max. 2 pages (English or German)

  • legally attested certification including a translation in German or English

    (the translation do not need to be legally attested)

  • legally attested overview of grades including a translation in German or English

    (the translation do not need to be legally attested)

  • legally attested language skills:

    • English: TOEFL 78 P / IELTS min. 6 P / a study in English

    • German: DAF 4 P in all 4 modules / C 1 Goethe Zertifikat

  • nice to have: employment reference, letter of recommendation, summer school certificates, etc.

 

What are the deadlines?

As an EU citizen the application deadline is 15th July.

Please note that the application deadline for citizens from non-EU countries is 31st May.

 

Processing of Application:

At first all the applications will be processed by a selection panel. Ordinary we have 25 free places at our study programme. Citizens from countries outside the EU will get a response until the mid of June. Citizens from countries in the EU will get a response until the mid of August. You will get the response about the partner universities as well as the needed information presumably at the end of August or the beginning of September.
